1970

1st January

Responsability for London Transport’s green country area buses and Green Line cross-London express coaches are transferred to the National Bus Company (NBC) as London Country Bus Services.

1986

7th September

Following the 1985 Transport Act, London Country is split into four divisions: London Country North East, London Country North West, London Country South East and London Country South West.

1987

April

London Country South East is renamed Kentish Bus.

1988

5th January

London Country North West is sold to a management buyout.

19th February

London Country South West is sold to Drawlane Limited.

15th March

Kentish Bus is sold to Northumbria Motor Services.

22nd April

London Country North East is sold to the AJS Group.

1997

8th August

London Country Bus Services Ltd is dissolved.
